MY LAMP WILL NOT TURN ON, WHAT CAN I DO?

Have you recharged your lamp recently?

If so, was the indicator light on the charger? In red, loading In green, full charge

If not, have you tried another electrical outlet?

CAUTION : If the charger is plugged into the battery, the lamp CANNOT light up.

Did you keep the ignition button pressed for about 1 second?

TIP: You can disconnect and reconnect the connector (telephone style) behind the light head. Take the opportunity to check the connector for corrosion and clean it if necessary.

If you have carried out all the checks listed above, you can return your lamp and all of its components to us by completing the RMA form and following the instructions indicated. Transportation and repair charges may apply. Check the warranty terms for your lamp.

HOW LONG IS NEEDED TO CHARGE THE BATTERY IN MY LAMP?

For a 6 hour lamp, allow about 5 hours of charging.
For a 12 hour lamp, allow about 10 hours of charging.

I LOST MY CHARGER

You can purchase a new charger directly from our online store at a cost of $ 19.99 for a 120V charger and $ 29.99 for a 12V charger. Taxes and freight charges apply.

CAUTION: Do not use any charger model other than the one supplied with your lamp.

I BROKEN THE TIE OF MY LAMP

The tether may be covered by the one (1) year limited warranty. To receive a new hitch or a replacement, complete the RMA form and follow the instructions provided. Shipping charges may apply.

 

You can also order a set of replacement suspenders directly from our online store at a cost of $ 29.99. Taxes and freight charges apply.

I BROKEN THE GLASS OF MY LAMP

The glass is not covered by the one (1) year limited warranty. We can replace the glass in the workshop at a cost of $ 10. Complete the RMA form and follow the instructions given. Taxes and freight charges are applicable.

THE CONNECTOR BEHIND THE LUMINOUS HEAD IS OXIDIZED

We can repair or replace the connector after an analysis of your lamp in the workshop. Complete the RMA form and follow the instructions given. Taxes and freight charges are applicable.

THE IGNITION BUTTON IS MALFUNCTIONING

If the ignition button is softer than usual, it can be replaced. 2 ways of doing this are available to you:

  • You can purchase a repair kit at a cost of $ 10.00 plus taxes and shipping directly from our online store. You are strongly advised to follow the instructions and warnings that will be included with your repair kit.

  • You can have it repaired in the workshop at a cost of $ 15.00 plus taxes and transport by completing the RMA form and following the instructions indicated.

TIP: Make sure to keep pressing the center of the ignition button for at least 1 second. You will hear a slight click.

THE WIRE CONNECTING THE BATTERY TO THE LAMP IS DAMAGED, IS IT SERIOUS?

DO NOT USE your lamp ANYMORE, this could be dangerous. For wire replacement complete the RMA form and follow the instructions given. Taxes and freight charges are applicable.

HOW LONG IS THE BATTERY LIFE?

If all the conditions of use and maintenance are met, your battery can have a lifespan between 600 and 1,200 recharges.

After this number, the battery charge time may decrease to 80%.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY?

You can view the terms of our one (1) year limited warranty on our website or in the owner’s manual you received with your lamp.

SOME ADVICE FOR THE OPTIMAL USE OF YOUR LAMP
  • If you are using your lamp in humid conditions, we recommend that you apply dielectric grease a few times a year to the connector (telephone type).

  • For maximum battery maintenance, it is STRONGLY recommend that you charge the battery 4 to 6 times per year if you are not using your lamp frequently.
  • NEVER recharge your lamp at a temperature of more than -5o
  • Do not leave your lamp in the cold or at a high temperature, such as in a car for example.

  • Always use the charger that came with your lamp.
